Weapons in the form of words

This environment or should i say world is filled with competativeness. Its in the air, we breathe and live it daily. From whos ipod is better to who has the cutest dress to whos car is the most expensive to who has the hottest body to who can dance like britneyspears to who gets the best grade(those spastic primary school days EW). Now that i think of it, its so fucking competative out there! Everyone wants to be the best of the best! You're dream job? There's like a thousand other people competing with you to get that job!

and we've experienced it all, havent we? Speech days are like days that determine your future, whether you ace it like no one else or whether you screw up so badly and come crashing down hard. You can just feel it you know, the adrenaline, when your palms get so sweaty and your heart starts to race while your climbing up those stairs (praying that you wont trip over your 5 inch heels) to the podium to deliver your speech. Then you can see all eyes staring at you, eyes with different expressions, some inquisitive about what you are gonna talk about. and..the rest, aka the other speakers who stare at you, with a hint of squint, and a nasty grin. and the hope that you will stumble over your words, lose your train of thought and um, most preferbely pass out.

Then if you're unlucky like me, you also have to deal with people like Josh, who asks you random silly questions like 10 seconds before you are being called up to speak.

Josh : Kav..why is it that girls always fall for ego self-obesessed jerks, and complain about them when all the nice guys like me are available?

Kav : Yeah? So tell me why is it that guys always fall for girls that are whores, bitches or plastics??

Josh: You mean girls like you.

Kav: What is THAT supposed to mean. thanks alot dork!
